The difference between mechanical and air  covered yarns

(Use 2070 as an example to make it easier to understand.)

1) Output:

The daily output of 2070 machine-covered yarn is about 80kg, while the daily output of 2070 air-covered yarn is about 1700kg.

2) Raw materials:

The mechanical covered yarn is composed of DTY and spandex, while the air covered yarn is composed of POY and spandex.

3) Price:

The price of machine-covered yarn is approximately 1/3 higher than that of air-covered yarn.

4) Equipment:

The equipment for mechanical covering yarn is different from that for air covering yarn.

In addition to the above 4 points, there are differences in technology, parameters and so on.
