Brief Talk of Spandex Covered Yarn

Spandex covered yarn is a kind of combination yarn consist of two different yarns. It can be called covered spandex yarn, cover spandex yarn as well.

It’s a kind of elastic yarn that use spandex yarn as core yarn, use filament or staple yarn to cover elongated spandex yarn in a spiral way.

Classification

1. According to the number of cover yarn outside, spandex covered yarn can be sorted into single covered yarn and double covered yarn two kinds. Among them, nylon spandex covered yarn and polyester spandex covered yarn are mostly covered by a single way.

2. According to different machine during production, it can be sorted into machine covered yarn and air covered yarn two kinds.

Characteristic

1. Air covered yarn (ACY) is a yarn that simultaneously draws the outer filament and spandex through a certain type of nozzle to form a rhythmic intermiger through the regular jet pressure of highly compressed air.

2. Machine covered yarn consists of the outer filament continuously rotating and winding on the core fiber spandex which is uniformly drawn. It is twisted with twist (TPM) and features a smooth and crisp fabric style.

Both ACY and machine covered yarn have their advantages and disadvantages in downstream weaving. Air covered yarn generally need sizing when warping, otherwise the fabric is easy to fuzzing or break. But when beating-up, itcan be used directly.

Over the years, dyed yarn spandex covered yarn has been sold to Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Africa, Europe, South America and other regions.

A:Usually,the production goes by a regular schedule.We are also able to manage some urgent orders if any necessary.  

3.Q:Are the products same as pictures? 

A:The pictures are taken based on the true products, but photo color might be a little different from the true products due to different monitors display .These should be regarded as being accepted when you place orders.
