FAQ

  • Q

    what is twistless yarn?

    A

Twistless processing: A method of spinning in which the fibers in strips are bonded to each other by an adhesive.

After the roving is drawn by the drafting device, the strips are sent to the twisting drum and the return drum is contacted by a thin layer of adhesive in the tank. The fiber strip is conveyed forward together with the roller by several small rotary pressure rollers. One of the small pressure rollers also makes axial reciprocating movement at the same time to make the fiber strip into a circular cross section, and make each fiber evenly contact with the adhesive. The circular fiber strips are dried by the heater, and the fibers are bonded to each other to form yarn.

The spinning speed is 2~4 times higher than that of the conventional spinning method, and the resulting yarn can be used for weaving. The use of adhesives to make the fibers in the yarn to bond each other into yarn, there is no weight on the yarn, strength depends on the mutual bonding between the fibers to obtain, is a new spinning method.

  • Q

What is the difference between twistless and twisted yarns?

    A

    1. Fibre alignment Because the fibers in the yarn are arranged in parallel, the fibers have a large degree of freedom, so the fibers become ribbon or flat after being extruded, which makes it different from the fabric formed by the traditional spinning method.

2.Appearance Due to the reason that the yarn in the fabric is banded cross section, the covering coefficient of the fabric increases, so the fabric looks thick and compact, good fluffy feeling, and the quality of the fabric is relatively light.

    3. Processing technology

  • Q

What does the unit "D" mean

    A

D is an abbreviation of DENIER, a fineness expression of chemical fibers. It refers to the weight of 9000 meters of silk at a given moisture regain in grams.Eg :75D is thicker than 50D.

  • Q

How to distinguish, spandex, polyamide and polyeste

    A

Polyester:near the flame: melting;Contact flame: melt, smoke, slow burning; To continue to burn, sometimes extinguishing by itself;Bouquet:special sweet fragrance;Characteristics of Residue: Hard black round beads.

    Polyamide:close to the flame,melting;Contact flame,melt, smoke;To self-extinguish;Smell,Amino;Residue characteristics:hard light brown transparent round beads.

    Spandex: near the flame,melting;Contact flame,melting,burning; To self-extinguish;Smell,special odor;Residual characteristics,white gelatinous.

  • Q

What does the unit "S" mean

    A

"S" is a fineness expression used for pure cotton yarn and refers to the number of 840 yards (1 yard =0.9144 m) of length in one pound (454 g) cotton yarn.So the bigger the S, the finer the yarn. 32S is thinner than 21S.

  • Q

    What is count?

    A

Count,A unit used to indicate the thickness of a fiber or yarn.It is expressed as the length per unit weight of a fibre or yarn at a fixed moisture regain.(Cored wire) is usually divided into metric count and imperial count because of the different calculation units.

  • Q

What are the factors that affect the cladding quality of spandex covered yarn?

    A

    1. spandex wire draft multiple

    2.Fineness of spandex filament

    3.covering degree

    4.Type of cladding process

  • Q

What is the difference between low and high elastic polyester yarn?

    A

    1. Costs differ.Polyester low elastic yarn has more processes and higher cost, while high elastic yarn has lower cost.

    2. Different quality.High - elastic polyester low - elastic polyester finished products have stable quality, less broken ends and good dyeing uniformity.

    3. Different shapes.DTY fibers are curled and FDY fibers are straight.

  • Q

    what is the POY?

    A

POY is a partially oriented winding yarn produced by high speed spinning,A synthetic filament whose orientation is between the unoriented (UDY) and the drawn yarn obtained by high speed spinning. It has higher orientation, larger elongation at break (150-100%), and lower crystallinity(<5%) , stable structure, no deterioration in the storage and transportation process, good post-processing performance, etc.

  • Q

    what is the DTY?

    A

Draw Texturing Yarn is a finished Yarn that is continuously or simultaneously drawn on a twisting machine and deformed by a twisting machine.

  • Q

    What is the FDY?

    A

Fully DRAWN YARN with high orientation and medium crystallinity can be obtained by introducing drawing in the spinning process.Conventional polyester and nylon full stretch yarn, are chemical fiber filament.FDY fabrics feel smooth and soft, and are often used to weave silk like fabrics. It has a wide range of applications in clothing and home textiles.

  • Q

Is it OK to print my logo on the Package?

    A

Yes. Please inform us formally before our production and We will print it directly when we produce it

  • Q

How to distinguish polyester low elastic yarn from high elastic yarn?

    A

olyester low stretch silk feel hard, poor elasticity, black smoke with fire.High elastic silk feel soft, strong elasticity, with fire to emit clear smoke. They also have different shapes, with DTY fibers being curled and FDY fibers being straight.

  • Q

How to determine the blending ratio of coated yarn?

    A

<p>After the number of core-spun yarn is selected, the blending ratio can be calculated according to the calculation formula (the calculation formula is omitted).

<p>For example, the actual blending ratio of 11.8Tex (50S) polyester-cotton core-spun yarn is 49.36% and 50.64% respectively. The calculated data is close to the actual production. However, when designing the blending ratio of core-spun yarn for the burnt-out fabric, the proportion of cotton should be larger, one is the comfort of wearing the fabric, the other is to increase the three-dimensional sense of the pattern after the burnt-out fabric.

  • Q

What are the fiber requirements of core-spun yarn?

    A

    1. Because the core yarn is made of chemical fiber filament, there is a certain friction force between the wrapping yarn and the filament, so the selection of staple fiber should consider the natural fiber (cotton fiber, wool fiber, hemp fiber or blend) with considerable friction force between the filament;

    2. The friction coefficient between pure tencel, viscose fiber and filament is very small, resulting in de-sheathing and very difficult coating, so it should be blended with cotton and other natural fibers in a certain proportion.

    3. In the selection of chemical fiber filament, the better the elastic elongation, the easier the filament tends to the center position, and the better the coating effect. Therefore, nylon silk is better than polyester silk.

    4. The higher the proportion of filament, the more difficult it will be to be completely enveloped. Therefore, different yarns choose different filaments.

    5. the finer the fineness of the staple fiber, the more the number of roots of the fiber in the cross section, the better the coating effect, so try to choose fine fiber.

6.The specification of filament bobbin is mainly based on the design of the creel, considering the flexibility of unwinding and the non-interference between filaments.

  • Q

What are the characteristics of spandex covered yarns?

    A

    Air covered yarn (ACY for short) is a kind of yarn which is drawn by filament and spandex at the same time through a certain type of nozzle and regularly sprayed by high compressed air to form rhythmic network points.The fabric feels soft and smooth;

Mechanically covered yarns (SCY for short) are spun and twisted on the core spandex with uniform draft. They are twisted and twisted (abbreviated as TPM). The main feature of this yarn is its smooth and straight fabric style.

  • Q

Do you inspect the finished products?

    A

yes, each step of production and finished products will be came out inspection by QC department before shipping.
